Profile - Katherine GuerrierKatherine Guerrier has been producing quilts and embroideries since 1980. After training at Art College she worked for some years as a teacher before completing courses in textiles, including one on design and embroidery.Her quilting and patchwork is very varied, drawing on traditional and contemporary influences from both sides of the Atlantic. Her work has featured in a number of publications and she has taken part in many exhibitions, winning several first prizes. As well as taking on numerous commissions from private collectors, she continues to teach workshops and to exhibit her work in the UK and abroad. |
