Profile - Margaret & MargaretMargaret McKee Huey was raised in the southern port city of Annapolis where her traditional parents instilled admiration for her southern American heritage. She was taught the art of stitching at the age of five and began designing samplers from an early age. By the winter of 1985, armed with seven new sampler designs, she embarked on her needlework business that specializes in counted cross-stitch samplers. Her work was immediately recognized by the needlework industry as designs with unique appeal. Her classic sampler designs continue to be affectionately embraced by stitchers from all over the world.
