Profile - Bussi, Johns and MarshGail Bussi worked as a journalist and writer for several years, but was always terrified of needlework until introduced to cross stitch. Quickly becoming addicted, she started developing her own designs which wre published in needlecraft magazines and also in leaflets. In the time she spends not stitching, Gail loves reading and trying out exotic dishes in the kitchen. Susie Johns trained in Fine Art at the renowned Slade School as well as Ravensbourne College of Art and Newcastle Polytechnic, before pursuing a successful career as an editor. She continues to make good use of her art background and creative abilities by designing projects for needlecraft magazines. She also paints, designs knitwear, loves to cook and is a keen photographer. Christina Marsh teaches art and mathematics. Her enthusiasm for cross stitch and other forms of embroidery began a few years ago when she saw a City and Guilds diploma show. She went on to achieve a City and Guilds diploma herself and established her own business Bramley Haven Designs, selling cross stitch kits. She also designs cross stitch projects and embroideries for a number of needlecraft magazines. |
