A lovely picture of this tiny bird with fuchsia flowers.

This is the 2007 design from Crossed Wing's Commemorative Hummingbirds of the World series. Designer Paula Minkebige gives the option of using blending filaments to highlight some areas.

The large scale chart is printed on an A4 sheet and the pattern uses cross stitch, partial cross stitch and backstitch in 28 shades of stranded cottons. The design is 67 by 87 stitches and the model shown was worked on hand dyed linen.

The chart pack has the chart and instructions and a coloured photo of the finished bird.
