The kit has large scale black and white charts, 10 stitches to approximately one inch or 2.5 centimetres, printed on four A3 sheets. The pattern is worked in cross stitch, half cross stitch and backstitch using 21 shades of stranded cottons and some gold floss. The stitch count is 200 by 250.
