Angel Stocking by Joanne Gatenby has angels in several poses with harps, mice, birds and squirrels. The pretty pink bow and ribbon with a gold edge is also stitched as is the label with name.
The 6 page booklet has a chart over four pages, letters in upper and lower case and full instructions for stitching and making up.
The stocking is worked in cross stitch, partial cross stitch and backstitch using 17 shades of stranded cottons and metallic gold. The edge of the ribbon is couched in gold braid. The stitch count is 154 by 226 and the finished embroidery is used as a template for the backing fabric.
Baby's First Christmas also by Joanne Gatenby has teddy bears making a pyramid so that one of them can paint the words.
