A delightful cartoon picture with lots of detail - washing hanging from the sail, the ship's cook roasting fish on an open fire, a pirate asleep in a hammock waving his cutlass and gold treasure in the hold.
This is one of a series of designs adapted from the artwork of Amanda Loverseed. The large scale charts come in two sets of nine A4 sheets, one set of the cross stitch and the other of the added backstitch. The pattern is worked in whole cross stitch, backstitch and french knots using 25 shades of stranded cottons. The stitch count is 225 by 167. The fabric below the water line is completely covered with stitching.
The kit contains:-
16 count Aida in pale blue;
Madeira stranded cottons sorted onto cards;
gold plated needle, stitch diagram and instructions.
