A modern treatment of the traditional art of hardanger, this runner makes a lovely centre piece for a table or dressing table.
Two corners have openwork designs with satin stitch, woven bars and four sided filling stitch worked in white pearl cottons. All the edges are serrated with white stitching and blocks of pink satin stitch and the sprays of roses are worked in cross stitch.

22 count white evenweave fabric,
pearl cottons in two weights and 5 shades,
large scale chart,
a needle and detailed instructions.
