Traditional white hardanger edgings and drawn thread work combined with cross stitched flowers makes a lovely mat for table or dressing table.
The edging is worked in buttonhole stitch with white pearl cotton and satin stitch banding in white and three shades of pink pearl cottons. Each corner has areas of drawn thread work in satin stitch, woven bars and filling stitches and the centre is decorated with single roses worked in full cross stitch in four shades of stranded cottons.
The kit contains:-
25 count evenweave fabric in white;
DMC pearl cottons in two thicknesses;
DMC stranded cottons sorted onto cards;
a needle, chart and detailed stitch instructions.
