A mixture of traditional white hardanger and cross stitch makes a very attractive mat for table centre or dressing table.
The hardanger insets and edgings are worked in two thicknesses of white pearl cotton, the lavender flowers and leaves are worked in full cross stitch and backstitch in 6 shades of stranded cottons. Since there is symmetry in the design the large scale chart is of one quarter of the complete mat.
The kit contains:-
pale blue 25 count evenweave fabric,
DMC pearl cotton in white;
DMC stranded cottons sorted onto cards;
A chart, needle and instructions.
