| London by Thea Gouverneur | Thea Gouverneur is one of the leading cross stitch designers in Europe and her designs are admired worldwide. She made her name with cross stitch books on flowers, but more recently she has demonstrated her talent for design in every sphere.
Now from Thea Gouverneur comes London, a cityscape of very detailed landmark buildings: the Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey, St Paul's Cathedral, the Tower of London, Tower Bridge, the Royal Albert Hall and even a red telephone box.
A large counted cross stitch kit for the more experienced stitcher, this is worked in one strand of cotton on 35 count linen. There are ten A3 pages of charts to help and the finished embroidery is nothing short of magnificent.
This latest release from Thea Gouverneur complements her stunning earlier designs of Amsterdam and St. Petersburg. |
