John Clayton has added two new designs to the Elegance and Internationals Collection - the elegant lady is called Rebecca and the new landscape is of Niagara Falls. Both are available now in 27 count evenweave and 14 count Aida.
Derwentwater Designs' latest Mackintosh kit The Three Maidens is reminiscent of The White Rose and The Red Rose, a painted gesso set by Margaret Macdonald Mackintosh designed for an exhibition in Turin in 1902.
A new addition to their Wildlife Series, Red Squirrel, is worked in cross stitch with a deep border of coloured blackwork. There are also new long stitch kits of each season in gardens.
Rico Design have produced their 2010 2011 catalogue with lots of new items, some available immediately but there may be a wait before all the Christmas designs are in stock. For Christmas there are lots of new printed table covers, and distinctive cross stitch wall hangings, greetings cards and advent calendars. There are also new design books cross stitch table linen and printed covers for all year round. We will certainly be stocking many of the new designs but check out their web site and if anything particularly appeals to you, we will be happy to order it.
Eva Rosenstand also has a new summer collection with a new Alpine Silhouette, garden birds and Christmas designs.
After an absence, Pat Rogers' popular design Roots and Wings is back in print. Unfortunately Green Apple'sBeatrix Potter Tale of Jemima Puddleduck, which has only been available as a chart pack for years is now completely out of print. Hopefully it will return soon.
We also have a few new pattern books from Permin of Copenhagen, two of which have a large range of hardanger articles for the home. Since Permin hardanger kits are very popular, this should give more scope to fans of this art.
