Hello and a golden welcome to October the traditional start of Autumn/Fall in the northern hemisphere and Spring in the southern. It's a time to think about those annual festivals again Halloween, Thanksgiving (in the USA) and Christmas.
This month we've got some fab new designs for you in kit and chart form.
Cottage Garden Samplings are getting towards the end of their Fabulous Building year with number ten: The Fairy House.
There are also lots of new Halloween designs - just about in time for Halloween (if you live in Britain!)
We hope to start despatching books and patterns to the EU again soon. The break has been due to coming to terms with the byzantine rules and regulations that the rulers of the EU seem to think are a good idea.
The Kreinik Saga continues
The story so far ...
Plucky small enterprise Kreinik was taken over several months ago after Mr Kreinik himself retired following decades of production.
The whole enterprise was moved to California by its captor, Rainbow Gallery with who knows what evil intent. Nothing has been heard of it since and fears are growing for its safe return. Only time will tell.
Will the mysterious RG ever release our hero? Will we ever see a shiny thread again?
Don't forget to tune in next time for another spine-tingling chapter.
And Finally
We'll be taking a couple of days off this coming week (woohoo!). The website will be open but despatch will be closed for a few days. We have some family matters to attend to.
