Natural Elegance is the title of the latest counted cross stitch booklet (#113) by Annette Jungmann of Rico Design (Germany). The 40 page glossy colour booklet features a collection of patterns for attractive and stylish table linen and wall hangings using Toulouse fabric and plain linen bands.
Toulouse is a Jacquard table cover fabric with Aida panels that match the designs in this booklet. It's available in white and natural for a square table cover or oblong table runners. The table cover has 8 Aida areas, and the table runners have 5 or 6 Aida areas depending on width. For larger tables Toulouse fabric is available by the metre in 180 cms widths.
Plain linen bands in a variety of widths can be used to make wall hangings to match your table linen. Rico even supply deco hangers for the professional finish!
The designs are in full colour and each one has instructions in 5 languages together with floss lists and lots of other tips and advice. There are eight design themes:-
Little Girl in flower meadow is a silhouette design worked in only two shades
Grasses has two motifs worked in five shades
Mauve flowers worked in a single shade
Dahlias worked in five shades in a single motif with a pattern for a wall hanging.
Magnolia is worked in five shades
Orchids with large flower heads has a motif worked in seven shades and a pattern for a wall hanging worked in nine shades
Ferns have two motifs and a wall hanging chart
Long stemmed rosebuds are worked three to a panel in nine shades.
