This is converted from the painting Spring's Parrot Tulips II by Igor Levashov. The large scale black and white charts are printed 10 stitches to approximately 3 centimetres on an A3 sheet with key. The pattern is worked in whole cross stitch only using either one or two strands of 20 shades of stranded cottons. There is no blending and the stitch count is 65 by 160.
The kit contains:-
27 count 100% cotton evenweave fabric subtly printed in shades of sand;
DMC stranded cottons sorted onto cards;
needle, chart and instructions.
This makes a triptych with Roses and Irises.
