Coats Crafts Ltd. launched their new designer range branded
maia two years ago and these finest quality artistic kits have proved very popular.
Based on the artwork of contemporary popular artists such as
Thomas Kinkade and
Nel Whitmore with more traditional designs from Japanese graphic art and the Art Deco illustrator
Erte, these stylish embroideries are works of art in themselves.
This Autumn
twenty four new kits are added to the range. The first needlepoint tapestries from Nel are of course large floral pieces,
Blue Ember and
Garlandia both worked on pre-printed full colour 12 count canvas using wools in half cross stitch and measuring 40 x 40 centimetres (16 x 16 inches). The first free embroidery is
Oriental Bird, worked on printed dark blue fabric.
The cross stitch collection has new cross stitch kits adding to the existing pictures by old favourites and introducing five new well known international designers.
