Four Hallowe'en motifs hanging from a ring as a seasonal decoration.
These are all worked on plastic canvas using a variety of stitches and materials. Stitch diagrams are included.
Witch's Hat - the peak is worked in raised spider's web stitch using black tapestry wool on a 7 count plastic canvas circle with raised centre. The brim is stitched in black ribbon. A second circle is stitched in black and orange ribbon and the two peices are joined by oversewing the edges.
Black Cat - Stitched on two 7 count plastic canvas circles and two diamond pieces for ears, this is worked in DMC black Etoile and a little yellow soft embroidery cotton with added button nose.
Ghost - stitched in cross stitch on white 10 count plastic canvas using Kreinik #8 braid in 052F glow-in-the-dark grapefruit and a little black floss. This is fluorescent and will glow after being under electric light.
Pumpkin - stitched on 7 count orange plastic canvas using tent stitch and orange and green tapestry wools.
The finished designs hang on a six inch plastic hoop with four pre-drilled holes using black ribbon to attach and making hanging thread.

button, needles, sewing threads and instructions.
