A modern stylish design of a dandelion clock.

The pattern is based on a graphic design by Julie Peden.

Worked in a single strand of only one shade, each seedhead is worked in backstitch and with available rotations there are sixteen different seedheads in total. These are shown separately on a further chart as a guide because when worked on the flower head some stitches overlap.

The stem of the flower is formed by couching two threads to produce a soft curve. The design chart is printed over two A4 pages and has a stitch count of 104 by 90. A more pleasing finished picture is achieved by offsetting the pattern and having a large blank area.

The design has large scale charts and detailed instructions. This pattern is intended to be worked on evenweave fabric and is not suitable for Aida.

Nominal size: approx. 20 cm (W) X 15 cm (H) (8 X 6 in)
