With a unique silky touch, Pearl Cotton is a mercerised, 2 ply loosely cabled embroidery thread which adorns and perfectly enhances embroidery creations.
Anchor Pearl Cotton Number 5 comes in 5 gram skeins which are approximately 21 metres long. Due to its rounded finish and combination of thread thicknesses, it is widely used for Hardanger embroidery, as the thread lies proudly on the fabric surface to create a lovely, uniform finish. Anchor Pearl Cotton offers a large colour range of up to 213 solid and ombré shades, and up to 24 Multicolours depending on the ticket number or thickness. Anchor Pearl Cotton is also used for Cross Stitch as well as Freestyle embroidery and other Counted Thread embroidery techniques. Anchor Pearl Cotton balls are also frequently used for crochet.
