Greetings from a sunny but 'fresh' Scotland as April draws to a close - and a warm welcome to our May 2024 newsletter.
This month we have new kits from Anchor, Lanarte, Riolis, Luca-S, Heritage Crafts, Anne and Bothy Threads; there are also a lot of new patterns including Cottage Garden, Heart in Hand and Blackbird. So let's get started!
Our near-ish neighbours Bothy Threads have released new kits aimed at 'little stitchers'. These are called HOP for 6 - 10 year-olds, SKIP for 8 - 12 year-olds and JUMP for 10 - 14 year-olds. You can see their catalogue here. Please let us know if you have a little stitcher of your own and we'll order up a kit for them.
Patterns
Cottage Garden Samplings' May house is the Hobbit House with a Tree House coming next month.
Production of Kreinik threads stopped on the 8th April to allow the equipment to be moved from West Virginia to California. We can only hope it resumes soon.
Petite Treasure Braid is a substitute for Kreinik Very Fine Braid and we have a conversion chart in case your project runs out of Kreinik in the next few months.

Our title is taken from May Night Poem by Sara Teasdale (1884-1933), an American lyrical poet:
«The spring is fresh and fearless
