This Month ... New collections from Lanarte, Bothy, Vervaco and DMC, new patterns from Mirabilia, Gloria and Pat ... and now Eva Rosenstand, and kits from Design Works and Heritage Crafts.
Needlecraft Kits We now have in stock Lanarte'ssecond 2015 Collection and Bothy ThreadsSpring Designs.
Among the new kits from Design Works are two candlewicking designs. Worked in cream and brown on natural and depicting flower heads and grasses, these are striking but easy to embroider.
Vervaco`s second 2015 collection is now available. We have chosen some birth and wedding samplers, a pretty Bird on a Swing hanging with two embroidery hoops joined by the swing ropes and we just couldn't resist the Sailor Mouse Cushion for the nursery. There are many more items to view in the online catalogue and we'd be happy to order anything that takes your fancy.
Painted Harbours are two lovely new kits from Heritage Crafts based on the watercolour paintings of Karen Carter and stitched in whole cross stitch and backstitch in soft shades.
For May 2015, DMC has introduced two sets of four kits each. Shappy Sheep is a collection of cartoon sheep, knitting, bathing, out in the rain and in love. Oriental Delight has a geisha, a Japanese garden with red bridge, pagoda and bright flowers, two stylised Peacocks and there are pretty little birds with cage, flowers and butterflies in Oriental Birdcage.
Needlecraft Patterns The latest pattern from Mirabilia Designs is Florentina, a lovely lady inspired by the designer's recent visit to Florence in Italy. An embellishment pack is also available.
We found some pattern booklets in Eva Rosenstand's catalogue and they're full of interesting ideas. They are intended for smaller designs, mostly flowers and alphabets and all in her unique, traditional style. The designs were published some time ago and make a useful resource.
Designs by Gloria and Pat are celebrating their 35th anniversary of Precious Moments with two Collections of Favourites with their usual cute children and Christian mottos.
And Finally ... The azaleas are out here at this time of year - hundreds of yellow, red and orange flowers each with a sweet fragrance that 'salutes the nose'. We hope the coming month brings you lots of new sensations and pleasures!
