Autumn is a second Spring ...

New from Anchor we have two Christmas designs - one an advent calendar and one a row of penguins. There are two new Tatty Teddy kits which would be ideal for Valentine's Day and continuing with their city series they have added the Sagrada Familia in Barcelona.
The latest 'Let's ' from Imaginating is Let's be Friends and has two grinning cats made of the words. Designer Ursula Michael has many more ideas of this series and we have two new patterns on order expected next week.
As we all know Italy is the home of good design and so we are delighted to be joined by a new Italian cross-stitch designer EolasNanSul. Her newly added downloadable patterns are striking and colourful and often based on Celtic originals.

Of course most suppliers introduce new designs at this time of year and we have many of the new designs from Riolis with more expected in the next month. Their landscapes are stunning and children and animals very appealing.
Following an enquiry by a customer we are now stocking 32 count Jobelan in white and antique white. This fabric is fine and even and is a cotton mix (51% cotton/49% modal) rather than the 100% linen of most higher count evenweave fabrics.
Following Rico Design's launch of a new catalogue we now have the large range of surface embroidery table covers those with Summer and Autumn in mind. They are all colourful with some traditional and some modern with a couple on spotted fabric and two in a mustard shade. Look out next month for all their new Christmas designs!
Don't forget to check out our Bargain Basement. Among the most recent half priced kits are three Permin printed Christmas table covers and all of Heritage Crafts' Bad Taste Bears by Peter Underhill.
And finally, we leave the last word to Albert Camus: «Blessed are the hearts that can bend; they shall never be broken.»
