Drawn Thread Needlecase and Sampler The designs are worked in cross stitch, satin stitch, hemstitch, herringbone stitch and interlace. The needlecase uses no. 5 pearl cotton, two shades of no. 8 pearl cotton, two of Anchor stranded cottons and optionally one of Caron Wildflowers. The stitch count is 54 by 80 (Estimate Fabric Size) and the model was worked on 22 count hardanger. The sampler uses two shades of no. 8 pearl cotton, one of no. 12 pearl cotton, three shades of Anchor stranded cottons and one of Caron Wildflowers. It also has a stitch count of 54 by 80 (Estimate Fabric Size) and was worked on 28 count linen.
Hardanger Hearts and Flowers This is worked in cross stitch, backstitch, cable stitch, Kloster blocks, woven bars, dove's eyes, eyelet stitch and satin stitch using seven shades of stranded cottons either Anchor or DMC, Pearl cotton no. 8 and no. 12 in either DMC or Anchor white pearl cotton. The stitch count is 59 by 80 (Estimate Fabric Size) and the model was worked on 28 count linen.
Hardanger Doll Collar This is worked in algerian eye stitch, bullion knots, buttonhole edging, cable stitch, Kloster blocks, connected wrapped bars and lazy daisy stitch. The pattern uses no. 8 and no. 12 white pearl cottons by Anchor or DMC. The stitch count is 38 by 76 (Estimate Fabric Size) and the model was worked on 28 count white Quaker cloth.
Queen and Chain Stitch Repeats - a decorative band for small items, this uses algerian stitch, chain stitch, lazy daisy, queen stitch and satin stitch in five shades of stranded cottons either Anchor or DMC. The stitch count is 12 by 14 (Estimate Fabric Size) repeated.
Rosebud Repeat - a border with repeat of 20 stitches wide, this is stitched in cross stitch, backstitch, four-sided stitch, hemstitch and palestrina knots. The pattern uses seven shades of stranded cottons and no. 8 pearl cotton in pink and white, all either Anchor or DMC.
Sweet Charity Afghan This uses the Rosebud repeat with hardanger corners. It's stitched in backstitch, buttonhole bars, connected wrapped bars, interlace stitch, Kloster blocks, lazy daisy, satin stitch and woven bars using pearl cotton no. 3 and no. 5. Each square has a stitch count of 63 by 63 (Estimate Fabric Size).
Blue Sunset Bookmark This is worked in buttonhole edging, Kloster block, connected wrapped bar, loose buttonhole loop and satin stitch. It uses one shade of no. 8 pearl cotton, one of stranded cottons, one Caron Wildflowers and Mill Hill glass seed beads 02024 heather mauve over 22 by 70 stitches (Estimate Fabric Size).
Mariann's Teaching Sampler The six bands are worked in algerian eye stitch, backstitch, wrapped backstitch, bullion knots, cable stitch, fly stitch, herringbone stitch, lazy daisy, long arm cross, queen stitch, rice stitch, satin stitch, Smyrna crosses, trellis stitch, vandyke stitch and wave filling stitch. It requires six shades of stranded cottons, one colour of glass seed beads, no. 12 pearl cotton in two colours, one Caron Wildflowers and one Kreinik #8 braid. The stitch count is 80 by 61 (Estimate Fabric Size) and the model was worked on 28 count Jobelan.
Shaker Pin Cushion and Box This is worked in Kloster blocks, woven bars, dove's eyes, fly stitch, four-sided stitch, satin stitch and trellis stitch. It uses one colour of pearl cotton no. 8, matching stranded cotton, two colours of Caron Wildflowers and two colours of Mill Hill glass seed beads. The stitch count is 58 by 76 (Estimate Fabric Size) and the model was worked on 32 count linen.
Hardanger Bell Pull Stitched in blue and pink 28 count linen over 54 by 148 (Estimate Fabric Size) and 54 by 42 stitches (Estimate Fabric Size). The pattern is worked in bullion knots, buttonhole edge, buttonhole bar, connected wrapped bars, dove's eyes, four sided stitch, interlaced stitch, klosters, reweave and withdraw, satin stitch, spider web, spoke stitch, three sided dove's eye and woven bars using Caron Watercolour and Wildflower in the same shade, one stranded cotton and optionally satin ribbon and heart charms.
Hardanger Chatelaine Similar to the Bell Pull and worked in no. 8 and no.12 pearl cotton and twelve colours of silks. The stitch count is 54 by 134 (Estimate Fabric Size).
Petite Heart and Two Hearts The stitch count for each is 30 by 26 (Estimate Fabric Size) and the models were worked in32 count linen. The patterns use kloster blocks, woven bars, buttonhole edge, buttonhole bar, mosaic stitch and palestrina knots using no. 8 and no. 12 white pearl cotton.
Emie's Teaching Sampler (illustrated) The chart is printed 10 stitches to two centimetres on two fold out sheets. The pattern is worked in seven rows using algerian eye stitch, backstitch, bullion knots, buttonhole stitches, coral knot, cross stitch, dove's eyes, double pekinese, double faggot, eyelet, fishbone stitch, fly stitch, four-sided stitch, french knots, hemstitches, interlace, kloster blocks, mosaic stitch, nun stitch, palestrina knots, punch stitch, rice stitch, satin stitch, Smyrna crosses, spiderweb, spoke stitch, sprat's head, stem stitch, vandyke stitch, wave stitch, woven bar, woven herringbone and wrapped bars.
The pattern uses nine shades of stranded cottons, no. 8 and no. 12 pearl cottons, one colour of Caron wildflowersand one of Mill Hill glass seed beads. The stitch count is 86 by 279 (Estimate Fabric Size) and the model was worked on 32 count linen.
