A lovely wildlife Christmas tree hanging with titbits for the birds which are flocking around, perching on the branches and on the ground around along with a squirrel and rabbit.
The large scale black and white chart is printed 10 stitches to approximately one inch on an A2 sheet with the birds, animals and food in outline and shown in detail on separate small charts. The birds in this design are:- blue jays, northern cardinal, chickadee, redpoll, evening grosbeaks, purple finch, dark-eyed junco, tree sparrow and pine grosbeak. The pattern is worked in whole cross stitch, three-quarter cross stitch, backstitch, french knots and lazy daisy stitch over 151 by 132 stitches (Estimate Fabric Size). the design is worked in DMC floss with added blending filament and beads. The model was stitched on 32 count confederate grey linen.
