The 16 page booklet by Heritage Stitchcraft has large scale black and white charts printed 10 stitches to approximately one inch. Each design has two charts, each on an A4 page, one showing the whole and partial cross stitch with the added backstitch and long stitch detail shown on the facing page. The floss numbers are given for DMC, Anchor and Madeira and the models were stitched on white 27 count Linda from Zweigart fabric using DMC stranded cottons.
The designs are:-
Cley Mill - worked in 21 shades with some blending over 60 by 60 stitches (Estimate Fabric Size);
Elm Street Norwich - worked in 23 shades with blending over 48 by 52 stitches (Estimate Fabric Size);
Emmanuel College, Cambridge - stitched in 14 shades with blending over 51 by 60 stitches (Estimate Fabric Size);
Kersey - worked in 19 shades with a little blending on a stitch count of 46 by 50 (Estimate Fabric Size);
Tide Mill, Woodbridge - uses 17 shades with blending over 37 by 60 stitches (Estimate Fabric Size);
Willy Lott's Cottage, Flatford - stitched in 16 shades with blending over 57 by 45 stitches (Estimate Fabric Size).
