The 16 page booklet by Heritage Stitchcraft has large scale black and white charts printed 10 stitches to approximately one inch. Each design has two charts, each on an A4 page, one showing the whole and partial cross stitch with the added backstitch and long stitch detail shown on the facing page. The floss numbers are given for DMC, Anchor and Madeira and the models were stitched on white 27 count Linda from Zweigart fabric using DMC stranded cottons.
The designs are:-
Big Ben - worked in 15 shades with some blending over 27 by 60 stitches (Estimate Fabric Size);
Buckingham Palace - worked in 18 shades with blending over 57 by 39 stitches (Estimate Fabric Size);
St Paul's Cathedral - stitched in 13 shades with blending over 41 by 52 stitches (Estimate Fabric Size);
Tower Bridge - worked in 12 shades with a little blending on a stitch count of 55 by 43 (Estimate Fabric Size);
The Tower of London - uses 17 shades with blending over 49 by 54 stitches (Estimate Fabric Size);
Westminster Abbey - stitched in 11 shades with blending over 38 by 58 stitches (Estimate Fabric Size).
