Spinnaker Flying - a yacht at sea, this measures 8 by 9 inches over 14 count;
Placemat - a design of yacht and harbour light for a placemat measures 12 inches square over 14 count;
Ship in a Pulley - an oval design especially to fit in a replica of an old rope pulley;
Ship comes in - ' If your ship has not come in, swim out to it' - the motto with a blue and white border and fish, shell, lobster and anchor measures 12 by 11 (Estimate Fabric Size) inches over 14 count;
Signal Flag Sampler (as illustrated) - An alphabet sampler with a difference, each letter has its equivalent signal flag. With a beach and lighthouse, blue and white border and sea creatures this measures 19 by 18 (Estimate Fabric Size) inches over 14 count;
Long Picture - of a harbor mouth and yachts, this measures 13 by 6 inches over 14 count.
There are ideas for other uses for the designs or extracts from them.
The booklet opens out to an A2 chart for the Signal Flag Sampler with other designs charted on single pages. The charts use whole cross stitch, backstitch and some long stitch in a limited palette of stranded cottons. There are only 19 shades used in total in all the projects. Some of the smaller project would suit a beginner.
