Six classic very detailed aircraft designs.
The planes are:-
Spitfire - The British single seater airplane used during World War II by the Raf and allies. This pattern is worked over 159 by 100 stitches (Estimate Fabric Size) in whole and partial cross stitch and backstitch;
P-38 Lightning - an American World War II plane manufactured by Lockheed, it has distinctive twin booms. The design is worked over 137 by 93 stitches (Estimate Fabric Size) in 16 shades of stranded cottons;
P-40 Warbuck - The Curtiss P-40 was a US single-engine, single-seat, low-wing, all-metal fighter and ground attack aircraft which first flew in 1938, and was used in great numbers in World War II. The design is worked over 116 by 110 stitches (Estimate Fabric Size);
F4F - Wildcat - The Grumman F4F Wildcat was an American carrier-based fighter that began service with both the United States Navy and the Fleet Air Arm in 1940. This pattern is worked over 157 by 82 stitches (Estimate Fabric Size);
AH-1W Cobra - An attack helicopter still in use by the US army. This pattern is worked over 139 by 76 stitches (Estimate Fabric Size) and uses 15 shades of stranded cottons;
F4U Corsair - The Chance Vought F4U Corsair was an American fighter aircraft that saw service in World War II and the Korean War. This design is worked over 166 by 91 stitches (Estimate Fabric Size).
The 16 page booklet has the large scale black and white charts and instructions. The designs all use tweeding - combining floss in the needle. Also included is a conversion chart for the shades used in DMC, Anchor and J & P Coats floss.
