A mermaid with pink and purple roses.
The design by Nora Corbett has a black and white chart printed 10 stitches to 1.5 centimetres on an A3 sheet with key and instructions. The pattern is worked in whole and quarter cross stitch and backstitch using 19 shades of stranded cottons, Caron Waterlilies CWL017 blue lavender, CWL072 midnight, CWL084 African sunset, CWL181 ocean breeze, CWL190 fraises du bois, CWL209 Iris and Kreinik #4 braid 011HL gun metal.
There are added Mill Hill beads - glass seed 02052 dark coral, 02057 crystal sea, 02077 brilliant magenta and size 8 18828 opal seafoam which are available separately and as an embellishment pack in our Supplies and Accessories section.
The stitch count is 131 by 170 (Estimate Fabric Size) and the model was worked on 32 count white linen CL065L/20 using DMC floss.
