Lots of hearts in this pretty Valentine stitch sampler.
The design by Nicole Dostel has large scale black and white charts printed 10 stitches to two centimetres on nine sides of A4. The pattern is worked completely in cross stitch, Rhodes diamond stitch, scallop stitch, Smyrna cross, satin stitch, Jessica heart, Rhodes heart, Rhodes triangle and there are stitch diagrams for all.
The design uses:-
Dinky Dyes 103 bougainvillea or DMC 3688 3 skeins;
Dinky Dyes 058 Kayla's rose or DMC 3803 3 skeins;
Dinky Dyes 01 Raspberry ripple or DMC 99 (variegated) 3 skeins;
and beads
Delica DB0625 (size 11) frosted pink silver lined or Mill Hill glass seed beads 02005 360 beads;
Delica DB1341 (size 11) rose silver lined or Mill Hill glass seed beads 02012 608 beads;
Delica DBM0624 (size 10) frosted pale pink silver lined or Mill Hill glass seed beads 02018 108 beads;
Delica DBL0902 (size 8) sparkling rose lined crystal or Mill Hill Size 8 beads 18821 152 beads;
and treasures
Swarovski crystal 5741 love bead rose or Mill Hill 12181 red opal heart 4 beads.
The stitch count is 215 by 215 (Estimate Fabric Size) and the model was stitched on 36 count linen and more floss would be needed for coarser fabric.
