Emie Bishop's band sampler a large scale black and white chart printed 10 stitches to approximately two centimetres on an A3 page. There are detailed diagrams of the stitches which include cross stitch, Algerian eye, bullion knots, four sided stitch, connected wrapped bars, dove's eye stitch, closed herringbone, hemstitch, Kloster blocks, lazy daisy, long armed cross stitch, mosaic stitch, queen stitch, satin stitch and wonev and wrapped bars.
The sampler uses eight shades of stranded cottons, Mill Hill Glass seed beads 0123 rean and #8 and #12 and pearl cotton in ecru. The stitch count is 86 by 217 (Estimate Fabric Size). The model was stitched on 32 count cream Belfast linen
The other projects are:-
Trust in the Lord smaller version worked in the same shades over 86 by 157 stitches (Estimate Fabric Size);
Lacy Embellishment - a full circle design based on the lower edge of the sampler worked in buttonhole stitch and variations over 86 by 86 stitches (Estimate Fabric Size).
