The 16 page booklet has large scale black and white charts and a conversion chart for the shades used in DMC, Anchor and J & P Coats stranded cottons.
The patterns are:-
Pottery Collection - worked in whole cross stitch, half cross stitch and backstitch using 17 shades of stranded cottons with tweeding and Weeks Dye Works Hand Over Dyed floss 1270 rum raisin, 1316 mulberry in a stitch count of 65 by 205 (Estimate Fabric Size). The model was stitched on 28 count antique white Lugana;
Spirit of the Bear - worked in whole and partial cross stitch and backstitch and finished with tassels using four shades of stranded cottons and Weeks Dye Works 1270 rum raisin. The stitch count is 79 by 81 (Estimate Fabric Size) and the model was stitched on a 14 count Ecru potholder;
Santa Fe Influence - worked on an Aida panel in a towel this uses whole cross stitch only in five shades;
Indian Dance - uses cross stitch and backstitch in 5 shades of stranded cottons and Weeks Dye Works 1270 rum raisin on a stitch count of 40 by 65 (Estimate Fabric Size). The model was worked on 28 count white Lugana;
Desert Accents - another towel motif worked over 40 by 65 stitches (Estimate Fabric Size) in whole cross stitch. The design uses four shades of stranded cottons, one of The Gentle Art Sampler Threads and a button for each repeat;
Southwest Cube - worked in whole cross stitch and backstitch using 7 shades of stranded cottons over 30 by 30 stitches (Estimate Fabric Size). The model was stitched on 28 count ivory Jubilee;
Peaceful Moment - a young Indian girl relaxing is worked in cross stitch and backstitch using 25 shades of stranded cottons with blending and Mill Hill crayon colors seed beads 02062 light crimson, 02061 dark orange, 02068 brown. The stitch count is 109 by 107 (Estimate Fabric Size) and the model was stitched on 28 count white Jobelan;
Adobe Gate - worked in cross stitch and backstitch in 26 shades of stranded cottons and one of The Gentle Art Sampler threads over 91 by 99 stitches (Estimate Fabric Size). The model was stitched on 28 count white Jubilee;
Running Horse - stitched in cross stitch and backstitch in 5 shades with one of The Gentle Art Sampler threads over 69 by 96 stitches (Estimate Fabric Size). The model was worked on 28 count ivory Jubilee.
